From Digg: Ubuntu Studio is a multimedia editing/creation flavour of Ubuntu, built for the GNU/Linux audio, video, and graphic enthusiast or professional. It is an official derivative of the Ubuntu open source operating system and comes with many applications as well as a beautiful dark theme. This walkthrough shows how to install it.
Unfortunately the ubuntustudio site has been down since the announcement, but the post on Digg has various links to torrents etc so you can download it from other sources. I am downloading as we speak, using this torrent and will certainly make a post (or two) about this flavour of Ubuntu !

Dell chooses Ubuntu
Dell will be offering a choice of XP, Vista and Ubuntu when you buy a new pc from them ! Very interesting move by Dell. This is a big step for Linux on the desktop.
